This was my first SSC ESA contest and only my second shoot at a surf contest. The waves looked a little mushy and on the small side some of the day, and clouds were passing over with rain was threatening all morning.

I only made it until about 11:30 a.m., but had a good time taking some pictures of anything that moved or caught the light.

The longboard action was fun to watch most of the morning.
